It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health.This is a grant funded contractual position.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for:conduct community mobilization and awareness activities to encourage participation in TB screening servicesengage community leaders, local stakeholders, and priority populations to promote awareness of TB symptoms, prevention, diagnosis, and treatmentmobilize eligible individuals to attend Mobile TB Van screening activitiessupport client registration, patient flow, and collection of required information at outreach sitesenter and update client and service-delivery data in prescribed registers, mobile applications, and project reporting toolscheck records for completeness and accuracy and report discrepancies for timely correctionassist the MTV team in maintaining daily records of clients screened, tests conducted, referrals, and other project activitiessupport counseling of clients identified as presumptive TB cases and facilitate referral to designated health facilities or BMUsassist with follow-up and linkage of clients to appropriate diagnostic and treatment servicesmaintain confidentiality and ensure respectful, non-stigmatizing communication with clients and their familiesprepare daily activity reports and support compilation of routine project dataperform other project-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
RequirementsYou should have:at least Intermediate qualificationat least 1 year of relevant professional experience in community mobilization, data collection, data entry, public health, or related activitiesbasic computer skills and familiarity with mobile applications or digital data collection toolsgood communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping skillsability to engage with diverse communities and maintain confidentialityattention to detail and ability to follow approved data collection procedureswillingness to travel and work in field/outreach settings, including adjacent districts when required.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
