Established in 1966, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad is a public listed food manufacturing company. Renowned as the pioneer of flour milling in Malaysia, MFM Berhad, operating under VimaFlour LTD, Mekong Flour Mills LTD, and PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, MFM Berhad is also prominent in the flour milling industry in Vietnam and Indonesia.

With over 50 years of expertise, MFM Berhad has now expanded to various business divisions such as poultry integration, aquafeeds production, and raw materials trading. Strengthening our position in the poultry integration and Halal food industries, on 10 February 2021 we partnered withTyson Food INC – world’s second-largest meat processor and marketer.

In November 2021, we commissioned the State-of-the-art poultry processing plant is one of the most advanced processing plants in the region with a daily processing capacity of up to 280,000 birds per day. We are expecting to fulfil the needs of Malaysia's Halal industry 147.4 billion UDS that is expected to reach by 2025.

• To plan, control and manage the efficient running of the production lines to meet daily target
• To execute daily shift production schedule by operating and balancing the wheat cleaning and flour milling production lines in order to achieve the target efficiency, extraction rates, capacity and quality compliance of the products.
• To promote a safe work place and safe working culture within the department, ensuring all Safety Operating Procedures are adhered to and where & when required, usage of PPE. Ensure all staff are properly trained and licensed for work in their respective areas.
• To promote the 5S culture within the department. Measure results, correct and guide employees in the importance of work place organization and cleanliness.
• To ensure regulations, legislative and other procedures are in compliance to HACCP, ISO 22000, Machinery Department, GMP, etc, requirements to ensure their continuous renewals and no disruption to the business.
• To monitor, review, audit and ensure all outputs are quality compliance and consistent to the correct blending formulation so as to avoid customer complaint and promote branding.
• To plan and manage training initiative for all personnel within the plant in order to upgrade their skill and knowledge and for self improvement and advancement in their career planning.
• To ensure that the Production Assistant undertakes the necessary autonomous preventive maintenance and coordinate with engineering in order to achieve efficient production levels.
• To initiate the continuous improvement program in terms of technologies updates to look into process improvement and growth.
• To ensure that there is by passing of machineries without the approval from the Plant Manager in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• To comply with the requirements of ISO 22000 and to support and to participate in ISO 22000 activities.
• To perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: Certificates/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
