Assistant - Merchandising

(Based at Activewear - Nawala)

1 year Fixed Term Contract

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Activewear team as an Assistant - Merchandising. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to work in collaboration with Merchandisers and cross functional teams to Support the merchandising and supply chain process to ensure production occurs as per agreed timelines, by negotiating, coordinating with internal / external stakeholders and final buyer to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and garments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Track and update daily sample input and output records, ensuring each operator's achievements are accurately monitored.
• Produce detailed downtime reports and regularly update them to support informed management decisions.
• Generate precise weekly re-cut and downtime reports to maintain accuracy in operator performance evaluations.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Undergraduate in Marketing, Merchandising, Business Management, or Statistics, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package; especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in PLM system, SAP or any ERP system knowledge.
• 6 months experience in a Data Processing role will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and provide insights.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
