In a nutshell

Provide support to the department to deliver great product at supermarket price by fulfilling our Global Sourcing Strategy and successfully achieve our targets of the department

What I need to do

• Work closely with UK trading team and supplier
• Support merchandisers to find relevant information needed to source new products to enhance direct sourcing
• Support merchandisers to facilitate product development, quotation, samples in a timely manner
• Manage the POs and shipment status in an efficient and timely manner
• Track data and update reports on key performance metrics
• Closely communicate with supervisor with sense of urgency and responsibility in the structured way
• Be positive and proactive to learn and to strengthen the knowledge of merchandising, sourcing and supply chain process
• Hold and believe in Sainsbury’s Argos values

What I need to know

• Fresh graduate welcome
• Excellent communication skills
• Robust personality, able to work under pressure
• Good commercial awareness
• Fluently written and spoken English
• Willing to travel within China
