Assistant - Merchandiser - Bulk

(Based at Bodywear - Ratmalana)

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the MAS Intimates team as an Assistant - Merchandiser – Bulk. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to support the merchandising and supply chain process to ensure production process occurs as per agreed timelines, by negotiating, coordinating with internal / external stakeholders and final buyer to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and garments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and ensure timely completion of activities as per customer calendar, collaborating with internal teams to meet delivery dates.

• Execute critical path tasks, including booking forms, order updates, and maintaining communication with customers.

• Manage raw material stock, inventory, procurement, and supplier payments, ensuring timely delivery at competitive prices.

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate the best terms for raw material procurement.

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, including BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, PO (Purchase Order) management, color approvals, and coordinating with suppliers and production teams.

• Monitor production issues, escalating as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

• Create reports, track sales forecasts, and update stakeholders on order statuses.

• Implement detailed time-action plans for order management and address production-related issues.

• Manage raw material stock levels, write-offs, and liabilities to meet factory needs.

• Oversee shipping arrangements and ensure timely delivery.

• Collaborate on projects to drive continuous improvement and excellence.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• 2nd or 3rd year undergraduate degree in Marketing / Business Management or relevant field
