
Assistant Merchandiser-Bulk
(Based at Ratmalana)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the Intimates team as anAssistant Merchandiser-Bulk. This role would enable you to support the merchandising and supply chain processes to ensure production timelines are met by coordinating with internal/external stakeholders and buyers for timely delivery of raw materials and garments.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up and ensure the timely completion of all key activities in the customer calendar, and prepare detailed plans to meet delivery deadlines.
Execute critical path activities, complete system-related tasks (e.g., booking forms), and maintain accurate communication with customers regarding order updates.
Ensure adequate raw material stock, manage inventory, provide accurate procurement data, and follow up on supplier payments.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure the procurement of raw materials meets quality, quantity, and cost expectations.
Coordinate activities such as BOM creation, PO release, PI confirmation, and bulk material approvals to meet production schedules.
Align raw material availability with production plans, escalate supply issues, and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Consolidate raw material arrivals, manage stock levels, and analyze liabilities to fulfill factory service requirements.
Address production-related issues promptly by coordinating with technical teams to minimize delays.
Ensure smooth order management through accurate time and action plans, and timely handovers.
Arrange shipping and prepare related documentation to ensure timely deliveries.
Contribute to performance, agility, and operational excellence by identifying and implementing project initiatives.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, company policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Management or a relevant discipline; professionally qualified candidates are preferred.
1–2 years of relevant work experience in merchandising or a related field.
Exceptional customer relationship management abilities.
Strong team dynamics and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strategic planning capabilities with adaptability to changing requirements.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and influence outcomes.
