Job Role

The Assistant Marketing Manager will play a strategic role in driving market development, consultant engagement, and technical business growth within Indonesia’s HVAC and industrial ventilation markets. Acting as a bridge between engineering and commercial strategy, the role focuses on influencing project specifications, strengthening relationships with M&E consultants, and positioning the company as a preferred solution provider for large-scale infrastructure projects.

This position requires a technically strong and commercially driven professional with deep exposure to HVAC systems, industrial ventilation products, and premium engineering brands. The successful candidate will also support regional alignment with the Southeast Asia headquarters while mentoring technical teams and leading high-level customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and execute strategic market development initiatives within HVAC and industrial ventilation sectors.
• 
  Build and maintain strong relationships with M&E consultants, developers, contractors, and industrial clients.
• 
  Influence project specifications by promoting premium ventilation and air movement solutions during design stages.
• 
  Lead preparation of technical proposals, presentations, and commercial solution recommendations.
• 
  Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to support strategic positioning.
• 
  Collaborate with regional headquarters to align Indonesia market initiatives with SEA business objectives.
• 
  Support negotiation processes and provide technical-commercial guidance during major project discussions.
• 
  Mentor and supervise junior marketing engineers in technical proposal preparation and consultant engagement.
• 
  Represent the company at industry exhibitions, technical seminars, and executive-level customer meetings.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 
  Minimum 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, strategic marketing, or business development within HVAC or industrial engineering industries.
• 
  Strong exposure to HVAC systems, industrial fans, ventilators, air filtration systems, chillers, or related technologies.
• 
  Proven experience working within principal/manufacturer environments, particularly premium European, American, or Chinese industrial brands.
• 
  Strong network with M&E consultants, contractors, developers, and industrial infrastructure stakeholders.
• 
  Strong capability in translating technical engineering concepts into commercial business value.
• 
  Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• 
  Professional business-level English proficiency is mandatory.
• 
  Strong leadership mindset with strategic thinking and team mentoring capabilities.
