Assistant Marketing Coordinator

Full-Time: 5 days per week. Monday-Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Rate: $25 - $26/hr based on experience

The Assistant Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing Coordinator with the duties and logistics leading up to and including Resident moveins and move-outs at the Community. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator must be adept at providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position works in collaboration with the Marketing and Plant Operations Departments. He/she also provides support to the Marketing Manager and Residency Counselors.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

  • Assists with the coordination of the logistics of all Resident move-ins and move-outs in a timely manner:
  1. Assists with the future Resident pre-approval process.
  2. Works with Residents, their family, and staff to coordinate and schedule the move-in date and time.
  3. Works directly with movers to coordinate the logistics associated with each move-in at the Community.
  4. Assists Residents with selections such as flooring and window coverings, and coordinates subsequent installation of these items.
  5. Creates the permanent Resident file.
  • Works with Resident’s family to encourage their support during the move-in process.
  • Assists with the production of various marketing reports.
  • Coordinates on & off-site marketing presentations and events.
  • Performs additional work duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of experience working in a retirement community.
  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with Residents and their families.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must have knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging and the transition to a retirement community.
  • Must have the ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as other database software.
  • Detail and multi-task oriented.
