
The Assistant Marine Technician supports the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of vessels and marine equipment by working closely with senior technicians and supervisors at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This role involves assisting with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of boat engines, propulsion systems, electrical components, safety equipment, and auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities also include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment functionality, and providing on-site technical assistance as needed. In addition, the Assistant Marine Technician contributes to logistical support, helps maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and ensures tools, spare parts, and materials are organized and available. By supporting both technical and administrative functions, this role plays an important part in keeping marine operations safe, efficient, and reliable.
