YOUR MISSION
- Main driver in establishing, implementing, and continuously improving PUMA Apparel & Accessories Quality Management Systems (QMS), standards, and governance frameworks. Lead supplier quality system audits, drive corrective and preventive actions, and strengthen manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement initiatives across the global Apparel & Accessories supply chain
- Quality Systems, Standards & Governance: Develop, implement, review, and continuously improve Apparel & Accessories Quality Manuals, Standards, SOPs, protocols, and guidelines. Establish and maintain quality management frameworks that ensure compliance with industry best practices, applicable regulatory requirements, and PUMA quality expectations. Drive standardization and consistency of quality processes across the Apparel & Accessories supply base. Support the deployment of quality governance systems to strengthen manufacturing quality performance and compliance
- Quality Audits, Compliance & Corrective Action Management: Lead and execute quality system audits at Tier 1 suppliers according to the annual audit plan. Evaluate manufacturing processes, quality systems, operational controls, and product quality performance against PUMA requirements. Identify compliance gaps, process weaknesses, quality risks, and drive proactive risk mitigation. Issue, monitor, and verify Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), ensuring timely and effective closure. Assess effectiveness and sustainability of corrective and preventive actions through follow-up reviews and audits
- Continuous Improvement & Capability Development: Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the Apparel & Accessories supply chain. Drive quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, enhance product consistency, and increase manufacturing efficiency. Analyze audit findings, quality trends, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to suppliers and internal stakeholders on quality systems, best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with suppliers, sourcing, development, production, and quality teams to drive alignment on quality objectives and improvement initiatives. Communicate audit outcomes, quality risks, corrective action status, and improvement progress to relevant stakeholders. Build strong supplier partnerships to enhance quality performance, accountability, and long-term capability development. Lead and support cross-functional initiatives aimed at strengthening product quality, manufacturing excellence, and supplier capability development
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- 5 -10 years of experience in apparel, accessories, textile, or consumer goods manufacturing, with strong expertise in quality management systems, supplier quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement
- Sound knowledge of garment or accessories manufacturing processes, quality assurance, quality control, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
- Experience working with international brands or global supply chains is highly preferred. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese. Chinese is a plus
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, results focused approach and the ability to adapt and collaborate across teams
