Job Description
The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (owner and operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Repulse Bay and many high-profile assets globally) is seeking to hire an Assistant Manager, Treasury to join the Corporate Finance Department. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Treasury to provide support in the execution of global strategic cash management activities for HSH and related Treasury projects.

Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Senior Manager to analyse cash flow forecast from global operational entities on daily and monthly basis.
- Assist the Senior Manager to monitor cash position for global entities/ investment and loan drawdown at Group level.
- Assist the Senior Manager to execute spot FX dealing.
- Assist the Senior Manager to manage bank account management (open, close and change of signatories of bank accounts) to be in compliance with Bank Administration Policy.
- Act as a strong business partner with Director of Finance(s) to build cash forecast with excellent accuracy.
- Build strong relationship with external banks through execution of deals.
- Support the Senior Manager to implement strategic cash management efficiency for the group. The scope includes cash management RFP, implementation of liquidity cash pooling structure and treasury system.
- Assist the Corporate Finance team to conduct basic financial modelling for the Group
General Requirements
- Degree holder in Economics/Finance or equivalent; with or in progress obtaining a recognised professional preferred (such as CFA, CPA)
- At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in treasury
- Good knowledge in investment financing
- Proactive, good problem-solving skill, detailed-oriented and willing to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
