Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and results-driven talent to join our team in Hong Kong as Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing. As an Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing of the dedicated client's team, you take full accountability of the assigned key accounts to develop and execute trade marketing plans while monitoring budget and sales forecast. Apart from pricing strategy planning, you will work closely with the Sales team on the implementation of trade marketing strategic plans to achieve sales targets. In addition, you will lead a small Trade Marketing team in Hong Kong and support the development of team capabilities.

General Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute trade marketing plans including program initiation, funding allocation program execution, as well as promotion evaluation for a group of assigned customers and specific channels
• Plan & monitor the trade marketing budgets and promotion evaluation
• Provide market intelligence report, conduct sales forecast and analysis based on sales trend
• Work closely with sales team in pricing strategy, and implementation of trade marketing strategic plan to achieve sales target
• Work closely with principals and internal stakeholders on category, pricing, promotion, and retail execution initiatives
• Manage, coach, and develop a small Trade Marketing team in Hong Kong, driving engagement, performance excellence, and continuous capability enhancement.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Marketing, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• At least 4 years of FMCG experience, with proven Trade Marketing experience required. Candidates with additional exposure in Category Management, Key Account Management, or other commercial functions are welcome
• Experience in a brand/principal environment will be highly preferred
• Experience in non-food categories is an advantage
• Able to drive data into insight. Market research consultancy/agency background will be an asset
• Strong analytical skills, numerical sense, and business acumen
• Experience in budget management, trade promotion planning, sales forecasting, and pricing strategy
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior team members is a plus
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Supervisor, Trade Marketing
