Industry Banking

This role involves managing trade finance transactions, conducting credit evaluations, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring portfolio growth. Key tasks include processing trade finance deals, preparing reports, and supporting policy development. Strong analytical skills and trade finance knowledge are essential.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage trade finance portfolio, ensuring growth and income targets are met.
• Process trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and collections.
• Monitor bill payments, expiry dates, and use SWIFT for transactions.
• Conduct credit investigations and site visits to assess loan feasibility.
• Prepare credit appraisal reports and financial analysis for loan approval.
• Maintain existing clients and acquire new trade business.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager and relationship team for support.
• Develop trade finance policies and procedures.
• Monitor key risk indicators and provide advisory to credit staff.
• Train staff and prepare reports for senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business, accounting, finance, or banking.
• At least 5 years of banking experience, with 3 years in trade or credit assessment.
• Strong credit evaluation and analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare credit papers.
• Good communication and writing skills in English.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and loyal.
• Knowledge of trade finance services and trade loans.
• Ability to work under pressure in a competitive environment.
