The Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the ticketing system, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for reviewing product listing quality assurance (QA) and driving internal process optimisation to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Ticketing System Operations
Manage daily operations of the ticketing system, including configuration, event setup, inventory control, and order management.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors/IT teams for resolution.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR).
Product Listing QA
Establish and enforce QA standards for all product listings (e.g., event details, pricing, seat maps, promotions).
Conduct regular audits of live product listings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Implement checkpoints and approval workflows to prevent listing errors before go-live.
Internal Process Optimisation & Management
Review and streamline internal SOPs related to ticketing operations, product setup, and cross-team collaboration.
Identify bottlenecks and propose automation or workflow improvements.
Lead process change management, including documentation, training, and performance tracking.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Act as the bridge between business units and ticketing system vendors.
Manage vendor SLAs and escalate operational issues as needed.
Perform any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should
possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Operations, or related field;
have 5+ years of experience in ticketing system operations, eCommerce operations, or digital platform management;
have hands-on experience with product listing QA, including audit processes and quality control workflows;
have proven track record in internal process optimisation and management (e.g., SOP design, workflow automation, change management);
have experience with ticketing systems is mandatory;
have knowledge of data privacy regulations (PDPO, PIPL, GDPR);
be able to manage multiple operational workstreams simultaneously; attention to detail;
have government or large-scale event operations experience is a plus; and
have good communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.

Stretching across 40 hectares of reclaimed land, WestK is one of the largest cultural projects in the world, blending art, education and open space.
Its vision is to create a vibrant cultural quarter for Hong Kong where the local arts scene can interact, develop and collaborate. Providing 23 hectares of public open space with two kilometres of vibrant harbour-front promenade it will also include a variety of arts and cultural facilities that will produce and host world-class exhibitions, performances and arts and cultural events.
A Development Plan for the District, based on well-received Foster + Partner’s Conceptual Plan, was approved by the Chief Executive-in-Council in January 2013. Overlooking the magnificent Victoria Harbour, the District will begin to take shape over the next decade.
By developing this sizable project in phases we can start to bring the district to life. The Xiqu Centre, Freespace, Art Park, M+, Hong Kong Palace Museum and Lyric Theatre Complex, will be developed as a first batch of facilities aiming for opening to the public.
