Job Description

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing business intelligence solutions, utilizing your expertise in data analytics and reporting tools, particularly Power BI. Your work will span across various platforms, including Enterprise Data Lake, Azure Data Lake, and advanced analytics, to create effective and efficient data-driven solutions. You will also be responsible for translating business needs into technical specifications and creating visualizations and reports to support decision-making processes.

• Lead and manage a team of data analysts and developers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Design and develop business intelligence solutions, including data analytics platforms and reporting tools, with a focus on Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring a clear understanding of the needs and goals.
• Create visualizations and reports to support decision-making processes and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business needs, and propose effective technical solutions.
• Work closely with the core function teams to develop new requirements for on-premises and cloud data lakes, estimating efforts and designing optimal solutions.
• Handle critical applications and ensure their smooth operation, as they influence key bank management decisions and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field of data management and business intelligence.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of leading and managing data-focused teams.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and other data analytics tools is essential.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based data lakes, such as Azure Data Lake, is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
