
Manages the overall technical service & sales activities on a regional level, largely for the GI existing & new customers, and new energy segment customer. Responsibilities may include integrating various sales and related business strategies for the area, managing relationships with customers and internal staff, and ensuring financial and operational goals are met. The Asst. Manager / Manager Tech. Sales perform duties as it is generally distinguished by managing a larger and more complex territory and multiple business segments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Independently managing the key account, ITL, Punjab, and other existing and new GI customers.
Technical Support to new customers in Energy and other market segments in the central India and other regions.
Supports Sales Manager in the development of new customers and contacts by profiling and targeting new GI and other segment customers, attending industry and trade shows, and networking within the industry.
Manages the integration of multiple sales and related business strategies by identifying overlapping areas, streamlining programs, overseeing implementation, and coordinating activities on a regional level or for a large region.
Manages the growth and maintenance of sales by ensuring the effective allocation of resources.
Manages the retention of existing business by ensuring relationships are developed with all levels of site management, monitoring overall customer satisfaction, and performing contract administration.
Responds to questions and concerns from customers, applies a thorough understanding of product lines and related application methods, and ensures customer satisfaction; provides direction to other personnel when required.
Performs supporting sales activities, such as giving presentations, inventory & supply management at customer end, payment following-up on contacts, and performing similar sales duties for high profile or essential accounts.
Supervises junior staff to include training, evaluating performance, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.
Receiving requirements of customer, generation of Internal MRP , efficient supplies of material and ensuring proper entry at customer end as per their process.
Performs other duties as assigned.
