Job Description
Main Tasks:
Provide on time technical service to customer
- Executes and achieve trial (new product introduction) and troubleshooting requests
- Performs formulation modifications, evaluations and testing base on customer needs
- Follows up development of new customers, applications and relevant processing technologies
- Provide necessary technical training/workshop/exchange with customer
Technical activities & knowhow documentation
- Communicates and documents (internal and externally) all processing technologies & trends
- Documentation of all opportunities in salesforce
- Document all technical related activities (trial report/trouble shooting report/lab working report etc)
- Collects market information (competitors, customers, regulations, etc.) & new ideas for R&D proposal
- Supports build up regional technical capability and fosters expertise exchange between countries
Support function (PM,QM,MM,EHS, PD etc) on quality/material/product analysis/registration/optimization etc
- Initiate New Article registration and ensure compliance to formulation change process & BOM’s consistence
- Supports evaluation of alternative raw materials
- Create related technical documents (TDS,BOM,BI,Quality documents….)
- Support root cause analysis of COPQ
- Defines product specifications for product developments/ modifications
Compliance to EHS requirements
- Ensures compliance to EHS requirements in labs & customer’s site
- Be responsible for the cleanness and safety of TS laboratories and workshop areas.
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 5 years of technical service and team management experience in Polyurethane Industry.
- Strong technical knowledge on PU formula design, application development, prefer with PU footwear application background. Good understanding on technical perspective.
- Good communication skills in English
