Job Description

Asst.Manager - BOP Commissioning will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities that ensure smooth execution and completion of commissioning activities. Key duties include:

· Project Coordination and Planning: Develop detailed commissioning plans and schedules aligned with project timelines and milestones. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to ensure all commissioning activities are synchronized effectively.

· Technical Oversight: Oversee the commissioning of all balance of plant systems including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.

· Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement rigorous testing protocols and verification procedures to confirm system integrity and performance. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards consistent with Adani’s commitment to sustainable operations.

· Resource Management: Lead, guide, and mentor junior engineers and commissioning personnel. Optimize the allocation of manpower, tools, and materials to meet project objectives efficiently.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate commissioning records, prepare progress reports, and submit technical documentation to management and clients. Ensure traceability and transparency of commissioning activities for audits and regulatory reviews.

· Risk Management: Identify potential technical and operational risks during commissioning phases and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize delays and additional costs.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external agencies. Act as the primary point of contact for commissioning-related queries and coordination.

· Continuous Improvement: Analyze commissioning processes to identify areas for enhancement. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline commissioning workflows.

· Training and Development: Conduct onboarding sessions and technical training for commissioning teams to upgrade their skills and ensure adherence to evolving industry standards.

· Budget Control: Monitor commissioning budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or safety.

Minimum 7 years of experience in commissioning within the power or energy industry, preferably involving balance of plant systems. Demonstrated ability to manage complex commissioning schedules and coordinate with cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
