Assistant Manager, Skai

of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of SKAI, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

  • Lead, motivate and develop the service team to deliver personalized and memorable dining experiences.

  • Drive guest engagement, anticipate guest needs, and effectively resolve feedback and service recovery opportunities.

  • Ensure service, presentation, cleanliness, and food safety standards are consistently maintained.

  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and manpower deployment to maximize operational efficiency.

  • Partner closely with the Culinary team to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences.

  • Monitor outlet performance and contribute to revenue growth through upselling, productivity initiatives, and cost control measures.

  • Conduct team briefings, training sessions, and coaching to build a high-performing and guest-centric culture.

  • Support the achievement of guest satisfaction, financial, and quality targets in line with hotel and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a premium dining, semi-fine dining, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong passion for food, wine, and guest service excellence.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage guests confidently.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience coaching and developing teams.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety, restaurant operations, and financial performance management.

  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
