Responsibilities:
Support Global Markets’ bank position (HK & Macau) and Investment team’s client position (HK & Macau) for the settlement of bond/ equity transactions (such CMU, Bond connect, Euroclear, Clearstream, KSD, CCDC, SHCH, CCASS clearing markets).
Follow up instructions / coupon / redemption / corporation actions with custodians while encountering on settlement and corporate event issues.
Arrange new CD issuances settlement and documentations with paying agent are placed in orderly and perform related settlement during the life cycle.
Support Repo transactions settlement (such as DVP/FOP, Rollover netting, coupon claims settlement)
Support Stock borrowing transaction (such as FOP, dividend claims settlement)
Timely generate daily reports by extracting data from Murex for officer to monitor Start of day and End of day for Bond / Repo / Equity / CD transactions reports to ensure no omission of instructions and completeness of Trades validation.
Follow up outstanding trades confirmation and unmatched / unsettled trades transactions.
Perform monthly bond holding reconciliation.
Handling exceptions reconciliation and perform entry adjustment.
Handling Internal and External for trade enquires thru Email/ Phone.
Handling Cash flow reporting for Nostro banks on funding management.
Prepare and deliver MTM Valuation Report to customers.
Collect billing statements to report operating expenses for accounts posting.
Support Margin call / deposit settlement with Broker and CCP agent.
Prepare regular MIS reports such as statics for trade volume, job counts etc.
Prepare accurate static data information for Singapore Static data team performing Issuer, Bond, counterparts and SSI setup in Murex.
Support hubbing operations to Macau transactions.
Handle proper documentation filing and coordinate godown storage activities.
Assist supervisors to work projects for new system / enhancement implementation (projects discussion, perform UAT tasks).
Requirements:
Associate degree or above
Preferably with 3 years’ experience in Global Markets back-office of Securities operations in banking industry
Good knowledge on SWIFT, Murex, EasyWay, CMU, Windows, Excel
