Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Security and Operational Risk who will assist the Director and the Assistant Director of Security and Operational Risk in managing and evaluating the daily SOR operations and in ensuring the highest level of safety and security of the Peninsula Manila's guests, stakeholders, colleagues, and hotel assets.

Key Accountabilities

• To be a leading part of the Security and Crisis Management Team and conduct investigations, regular trainings, drills and inspection walkthrough.
• Responsible for adhering and implement security and safety policies and procedures in compliance with the DOLE OSH standards.
• Develops security and accident prevention programs for incorporation to the policies & procedures of the organization.
• Managers and monitors the inspection facilities, machinery, equipment and related activities in order identify & correct potential risks and hazards in terms of safety and security.
• Possesses excellent working relationship with operational divisions and departments of the hotel and assists in the guidance, implementation and trainings in relation to safety and security

General Requirements

• With at least 2 years experience in role of Safety Supervisor and / or Security Supervisor in the hospitality sector or related field.
• Preferably a Certified Safety Practitioner under DOLE Safety legislations / SO3
• Possesses the technical know-how, knowledge and training capacity
• Graduate for Engineering courses (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics & Communication, or Industrial) is an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
