Job Purpose

OCBC Securities (Hong Kong) is seeking a Night Desk Dealer to support US market trading activities The role is responsible for overnight order execution, client servicing, and risk monitoring to ensure smooth and compliant trading operations during US market hours.

What you will be doing:

  • Execute client orders in US equities and related products accurately and in a timely manner

  • Monitor open orders, executions, and client positions during US market hours

  • Handle client trading enquiries and provide professional dealing support

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT to resolve trading or system issues

  • Prepare daily dealing reports, exception logs, and trading summaries

  • Support system testing (UAT), process enhancements, and ad-hoc initiatives as required

  • Work night shifts aligned with US market hours, including selected Hong Kong public holidays (with compensation)

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines

  • Holder of SFC RA Type 1 / HKMA RI Type 1 license; Type 2 license is an advantage

  • 1-5 years of relevant dealing or trading experience; US equities experience preferred

  • Good understanding of trade execution, margin processes, and dealing workflows

  • Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to work independently during night shifts

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Prior experience covering US market night desk

  • Exposure to global equities, options, or futures

  • Familiarity with OMS/EMS and electronic trading platforms
