Job Description

To support this momentum, Dyson Korea is expanding its in‑market sales organisation and building a high‑performing team to drive business growth, profitability, and commercial success. This team works closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver strong market results.

The Assistant Manager, TVHS will play a key role in executing sales strategies and driving channel‑specific initiatives to accelerate revenue growth within the TVHS channels in Korea.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Drive Sales Performance

  • Deliver sales results in volume, revenue, and profitability.
  • Own and manage communication with assigned TVHS customer(s) to drive profitable growth and achieve financial targets.
  • Develop and execute short‑term and long‑term customer plans and sales strategies to support sustainable growth in the TVHS channel.
  • Deliver sales strategies with TVHS customers and lead negotiations through regular MBRs and QBRs.
  • Execute NPD launch processes, ensuring successful GTM execution and effective communication with TVHS customers.
  • Deliver customer KPIs and volume targets by store, with performance tracked against clearly defined goals.
  • Execute sales activities with assigned TVHS customers in accordance with agreed contractual guidelines.
  • Deliver agreed number of airings with defined TVHS customers.
  • Build and negotiate sales forecasts with customers and ensure alignment with agreed targets.
  • Track execution using internal tools, monitoring promotion efficiency, costs, and gross margin.
  • Execute key account sales planning processes to improve forecast accuracy and ensure monthly delivery of results.
  • Deliver the agreed annual business plan with assigned customers.

Airing Management

  • Deliver sales targets across both volume and number of airings for assigned customers.
  • Secure airing slots through early and ongoing negotiations with customers (MBR/QBR).
  • Maximise efficiency by increasing brand programme exposure and premium airtime.
  • Improve cost efficiency by optimising airing and promotional costs.
  • Maintain ASP guidelines to ensure healthy balance across channels.
  • Increase brand awareness among retailers’ customers and build strong advocacy with TVHS MDs.
  • Execute and review all sales activities by account.
  • Conduct structured business reviews with retailers, incorporating market intelligence, category insights, sales data, and Dyson marketing plans.
  • Plan customer visits effectively to ensure optimal time utilisation and appropriate call frequency.
  • Implement and track ROI across all sales drivers within the TVHS channel.

Management / Communication

  • Act as a trusted business partner to TVHS customers by consistently delivering business results.
  • Report daily and weekly sell‑out performance for assigned TVHS customers.
  • Lead and participate in monthly business meetings with key accounts.
  • Execute all sales activities for assigned accounts in line with agreed plans.
  • Manage ongoing communication with agencies supporting assigned TVHS customers.
  • Execute sales activities aligned with the annual business plan cascaded from the team leader.

KPIs

  • Quantity: Sell‑In (Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly) and Achievement %
  • Gross Margin (GM): Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly performance and Achievement %
  • Quality: Effective execution of pre‑planned activities, including regular MBRs and QBRs

Key Stakeholders

  • Sales Team: Sales Managers and Assistant Managers
  • Internal Stakeholders: Retail & Trade Marketing
  • External Stakeholders: Assistant Buyers and Buyers within EM customers
  • Agencies supporting assigned accounts

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred experience in TVHS retail operations in Korea
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG Sales and/or Marketing
  • Native Korean and intermediate English proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
