Job Description

The role of the Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive reports to Lead, Sales Assurance. You are required to support the Lead in administering the Balanced Scorecard framework and tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and coordinate MAS BSC reporting, ensuring information is accurate, complete and submitted within regulatory timelines.
  • Support senior management and committee reporting, delivering timely and reliable information for governance oversight.
  • Analyse BSC results, including infractions, trends, appeals, and rectification status, and highlight key risks and insights to management.
  • Serve as BSC system business owner/SME, translating operational and regulatory needs into functional specifications and supporting system configuration, enhancements, UAT, and issue resolution.
  • Work with internal and external IT stakeholders to implement system changes in line with BSC regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure system workflows, data outputs, and audit trails support regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
  • Drive improvements in reporting efficiency, data quality, and system controls within the Sales Assurance.

Qualifications & Competencies / Key Traits:

  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a compliance role in a financial institution or similar.
  • Understanding and experience in market conduct and/or sales advisory.
  • Experience supporting or managing business systems is an advantage.
  • Experience working with internal IT teams and/or external vendors to deliver system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with ability to interpret data and translate it into management insights.
  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and system specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of senior management and committee‑level reports.
  • Basic knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the insurance/financial industry
