We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager Sales to join our sales team in Chennai, India. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in driving sales performance, leading a talented team, and identifying new business opportunities in a competitive marketplace. • Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets while fostering a positive, inclusive work culture
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
• Manage and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reporting of sales metrics and performance indicators
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating empathy and transparency while addressing client needs and concerns

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales management or assistant manager sales role, with proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Strong commercial awareness with demonstrated ability to analyze financial metrics, identify cost-effective solutions, and drive sustainable profit growth
• Excellent decision-making skills with ability to assess situations analytically and make rational judgments under pressure
• Proven experience in team leadership, delegation, and motivating others to achieve organizational goals
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and sales analytics tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to close deals while maintaining long-term customer relationships
• Solid understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced, competitive environment
