Basic Function and Responsibility
Provide effective management of staff, resources and operations to ensure the efficient functioning and ongoing development of a youth treatment facility. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to offer guidance, consultation and support on key operational matters. Supervise, mentor, and develop team member to maintain high standards of service delivery. Represent and attend meeting to support court goals.
Appointing Authority and Supervision Received
The deputy court administrator of family court is the appointing authority. The assistant manager receives direct supervision by the manager of the unit.
Supervision Exercised
This position is directly responsible for the supervision of facility supervisors, shift leaders and nurses.

Minimum Qualifications: (Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis, provided a high school diploma or GED has been obtained.)
Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field plus three years directly related work experience with troubled youth, with emphasis in treatment program development. One year of supervisory experience required.
Necessary Special Requirement
Minimum age requirement is 25 years old.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from state of residence and provide proof of such.
Must possess and maintain state mandated auto liability insurance and properly licensed/reliable vehicle and provide proof of such.
