
Department: Academic Registry
The Academic Registry is looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join the Registry Systems and Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day IT operations, system implementation and service delivery, as well as digital transformation, AI-enabled initiatives and business process improvement projects.
The appointee will be responsible for:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline, together with at least three years of relevant work experience in IT system support, system implementation, business analysis, databases and/or low-code application and workflow development platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Automate) in Higher Education Sector. Experience in user acceptance testing, vendor coordination and system implementation would be advantageous. Experience with student information systems, timetable scheduling systems, AI chatbot solutions and/or curriculum management systems and related workflows is desirable.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and work effectively with users, technical teams and external vendors. The candidate should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, be able to work both independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
