Job Description

We're hiring an Assistant Manager - R&D - (Karachi - Onsite)

• Department: Research & Development (R&D)

• Location / Base: Factory (Full-time / Permanent)

• Reports To: Senior Manager – R&D

• Supervises: R&D Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager – R&D with a background in Food Science and culinary/product application expertise. This role will focus on driving new product development, idea generation, technical support, and managing product applications tailored to key client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development & Innovation: Drive end-to-end idea generation, formulation, and development of new food products aligning with key account requirements.

• Product Application & Culinary Orientation: Conduct trials, recipe development, and technical applications (chef/culinary orientation) to demonstrate product functionality to clients.

• Technical Client Support: Provide technical solutions, troubleshoot product application issues, and offer expertise directly to key client accounts.

• R&D Operations & Supervision: Oversee and guide R&D Plant Operators during trials, pilot runs, and application testing.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to transition new concepts smoothly from R&D to full-scale production.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: BS in Food Science & Technology.

• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, product development, or culinary/product application within the food sector.

• Special Skills: Strong chef/product application orientation, technical problem-solving, and creative formulation skills.

• Age Preference: 27 – 32 years.

Work timings: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi
