Assistant Manager ‐ Product Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive dyeing innovation by identifying, developing, and implementing new dyeing technologies, techniques, chemicals, and processes to improve product and process performance.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize dyeing processes, reduce chemical consumption, minimize water and energy usage, and improve resource utilization.
• Provide technical solutions for complex dyeing-related challenges affecting product quality, manufacturability, colour performance, and production efficiency.
• Continuously review and improve existing dyeing processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, quality, and sustainability.
• Develop, conduct, and validate trials for new dyes, chemicals, machinery, and dyeing techniques, and establish robust processes for production implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Dye Technical, Operations, Quality, R&D, and suppliers to introduce dyeing innovations and implement technical solutions.
• Monitor emerging dyeing technologies and industry developments and translate relevant innovations into practical applications within the business.
• Establish and standardize successful dyeing processes following technical trials and validation.
• Monitor and improve dyeing cycle time, water consumption, energy consumption, chemical usage, and overall process efficiency.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce dyeing-related quality issues, rejections, reprocessing, and process deviations.
• Track and evaluate the effectiveness of dyeing innovations and process improvements through measurable business outcomes.
• Manage and strengthen the innovation pipeline by developing technical concepts, collaborating with suppliers, and progressing viable projects toward implementation.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with relevant teams to strengthen dyeing capabilities and support continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, trial results, process standards, and improvement records to support decision-making and knowledge sharing.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Degree in Textile Engineering .
• Minimum 3 years experience in Seamless manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Dyeing.
