About the Company

Our client is a multinational conglomerate with business interests in retailing, travel and leisure, luxury products, interactive marketing, technology, financial services, corporate investments, training and education, business consulting, and logistics.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage external public relations agencies to ensure effective delivery of PR content, materials, and services.
• Track and monitor regional media coverage and define next steps to adjust initiatives in response to emerging trends.
• Support strategic planning and implementation of Government Relations initiatives, including crisis mitigation and management.
• Collaborate closely with various departments, such as Marketing, Operations, and Sports Sponsorship, to implement projects aimed at building, enhancing, or protecting the QNET brand.
• Craft compelling write-ups and create content to seize opportunities that strengthen brand positioning and reputation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets across Southeast Asia, South Africa & Europe.
• Assist in managing the PR and online reputation aspects during potential crisis incidents.
• Collate and analyze media coverage to ensure alignment with the needs of different markets.

Job Requirements

• Degree in public relations, journalism, marketing communications or other-related fields
• 
  Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Proven leadership and outstanding organizational abilities.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to follow directions while also showing initiative in developing independent strategies and projects.
• Experience in the Direct Selling industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for writing and prompting is an added advantage.
• Min 5 years in PR Consultancy and/or Corp. Communications.
• Willing to travel overseas.
• Added years of experience in other relevant fields such as broad corporate communications, journalism, event management, and consultancy skills are an added advantage.
• Languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, French, Arabic, Russian, are also an added advantage exposure to crisis portfolios with reputation management skills, regional experience in Africa, Middle East, Central Asia regions are also an added advantage

Remuneration

• RM 10,000 - RM 12,000
• 1-month contractual bonus
