Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Product Audit Execution

  • Conduct Product Audits as per audit plan.
  • Perform Static Audits covering fit & finish, workmanship, functionality, and appearance quality.
  • Conduct Dynamic Audits for ride, handling, NVH, braking, steering, and vehicle performance assessment.
  • Verify compliance with vehicle specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Support audits during new product launches, SOP, and mass production phases.
  • Perform benchmarking audits of competitor vehicles and identify improvement opportunities.

Non-Conformance Management

  • Identify and record vehicle audit non-conformities.
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions for audit findings.
  • Monitor repeat defects and validate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Support field quality concern investigations and systemic improvement actions.

Compliance & Quality Systems

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, IMS , QMS or applicable quality standards.
  • Maintain audit records, audit scorecards, and quality documentation.
  • Support internal, customer, and certification audits.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze audit findings and product quality trends.
  • Prepare management reports, audit scorecards, and quality dashboards.
  • Recommend product and process improvements based on audit outcomes.

Monitor audit KPIs and quality performance indicators

Experience

  • 3–8 years of experience in Product Quality, Vehicle Audits, Manufacturing Quality, or Customer Quality.
  • Hands-on experience in Full Vehicle Static & Dynamic Audits.
  • Experience in Electric Vehicle quality evaluation preferred.
