Summary

The Assistant Manager – Port Investment & Business Support is responsible for supporting port-related investment activities, including investment validation, ROI review, GHQ approval coordination, and investment performance reporting. The role also provides business and operational support for port processing activities by coordinating with Port Operations, Finance, Procurement, GHQ, and other stakeholders to ensure investment plans are properly reviewed, supported, and monitored. Success in this role requires strong capabilities in investment review, business analysis, financial and operational coordination, reporting, project follow-up, and port processing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review port investment plans to validate operational needs, cost accuracy, and business justification.
• Support ROI, cost-benefit, and operational impact reviews for proposed investments.
• Prepare and coordinate GHQ investment approval packages and supporting documentation.
• Monitor approved investment projects, including implementation progress, spending status, and key milestones.
• Prepare investment performance and actual-versus-plan reports for management and GHQ review.
• Coordinate with Port Operations, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders on investment-related requirements and follow-up items.
• Support port processing activities through operational reviews, cost evaluations, and general business support.
• Maintain investment records, supporting documentation, and reporting standards across port locations.
• Support annual business planning and investment planning activities.
• Assist with port processing cost reviews, operational assessments, and ad hoc business analysis.
• Support development and maintenance of investment procedures, standards, and governance processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to port operations, infrastructure, and business improvement.
• Provide management and executive support through business reporting, presentations, coordination, and special assignments as required.

Compensation Range

$85,000 - $105,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Skills & Qualifications

• Risk identification and mitigation planning
• Audit reporting and documentation management
• Operational audit or quality assurance experience
• Investment planning, ROI analysis, and cost-benefit evaluation.
• Capital investment approval processes, budget tracking, and investment performance reporting.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, and Power BI for data analysis, tracking, and reporting Required
• Proficient ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, vendors, and third-party partners Required
• Advanced attention to detail with a strong control-oriented mindset Required
• Advanced ability to identify processing errors, inefficiencies, and control gaps Required
• Advanced analytical capability to assess the financial and operational impact of process issues Required
• Experience in logistics, port operations, audit, or process improvement environments Required
• Korean Bilingual is Preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Master's Degree Preferred
• 6 - 9 years of direct experience in Accounting, Billings, Financial Analysis, Supply Chain, Finished Vehicle Operations Required
• 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience Required
• 7 - 11 years of direct experience in Accounting, Billings, Financial Analysis, Finished Vehicle Operations Preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Preferred
