Job Description

  • Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, steam generation, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure smooth start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling of boiler systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
  • Maintain auxiliary equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, fans, economizers, and heat exchangers.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate overhauls, annual shutdown activities, and repairs.
  • Maintain boiler logs, maintenance records, inspection reports, and SOPs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and maintenance reports.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and auditors.
  • 3–10 years of experience (depending on level) in boiler operations and mechanical maintenance
  • Experience in industrial plants, utilities, power plants, or heavy manufacturing preferred
  • BE/BTech in Mechanical
