Purpose of this position:

This position is responsible for the warehouse and distribution business operation and overall project implementation and solution design of logistics operation within the region. Works closely with our internal and external clients to analyze and document SOP processes and develop and implement best practice, consistent, standardized Logistics implementation plan and solutions, and has ability to handle daily operation management and special situation.

s of Key Responsibilities/ Tasks:

1. Lead, design and implement the logistics operation process / SOP and manage the milestones of the project.
2. Understand/document the detailed business requirements and design/document the application solution, to meet the business & implementation requirements.

1. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
2. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
3. Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
4. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
5. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
6. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
7. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
8. Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
9. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. Provide regular updates on project progress to management and customers to enable overall project progress monitoring.

12. Perform end user operational/SOP training as part of the solution handover to the operation concerned.
13. Continuously looking at ways to re-engineer the current Logistics process to provide a better quality service to our Clients.
14. Works with branch logistics and sales teams to provide logistics process responses to RFPs/RFQs.
15. Provides support for regional projects.
16. Source or evaluate new/existing sub-contractors capabilities in the country to implement the Logistics projects align with cargo-partner compliance standard.
17. Operation know-how on using cargo-partner Warehouse Management System (WMS).
18. To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.

Minimum Education /Qualifications/Experience:

1. University degree or equivalent
2. English language fluency
3. At least 8 years’ experiences with :
4. Warehouse operational experiences
5. Supply chain knowledge
6. End user application training and documentation
7. Project management methodology and processes
8. Working in a global multi-national organization
9. Client presentation experiences (project progress & delivery, technology capabilities and value add.)
10. Good understand of the Contract Logistics business services

Personal Qualification:

1. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
2. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
3. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
4. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
5. Hands on experience with warehouse management software
6. Leadership skills and ability manage staff
7. Strong decision making and problem solving skills
8. Excellent communication skills
