This position is responsible for supporting his/her marketing workgroup by supporting the organization's marketing and commercial growth objectives through strategic planning, revenue forecasting, business analytics, market intelligence, and go-to-market initiatives. The role partners closely with sales, finance, operations, and leadership teams to drive revenue growth, improve business performance, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

The incumbent will play a key role in business planning, forecasting, performance reporting, customer retention analysis, and the development of marketing strategies and new service offerings.

1. Business Planning

  • Lead country-level revenue planning and target allocation across sales channels.
  • Translate corporate growth objectives into actionable business plans and initiatives.
  • Monitor execution of strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Support annual and quarterly planning cycles.

2. Forecasting & Revenue Management

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasting processes.
  • Assist in preparing revenue simulations, trend analyses, and performance projections.
  • Provide management with timely business insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and manage monthly revenue targets.

3. Strategic Planning

  • Contribute to the formulation, execution, and review of commercial and marketing strategies.
  • Support strategic business projects and market expansion initiatives.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to identify growth opportunities and business risks.

4. Revenue Reporting & Business Analytics

  • Own end-to-end revenue reporting and performance analytics.
  • Assist and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
  • Analyze market, customer, and operational data to evaluate business health.
  • Provide insights that drive informed strategic and operational decisions.

5. Market Intelligence & Research

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, and macroeconomic developments.
  • Assess competitor activities and identify market opportunities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management.

6. Customer Churn Management

  • Assist and maintain customer churn reporting and analysis.
  • Help Identify key drivers of customer attrition and recommend retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address recurring customer issues.
  • Track effectiveness of customer retention initiatives.

7. Business Case Development

  • Support the preparation and evaluation of business cases for new products, services, and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform financial analysis, market assessments, and ROI evaluations.
  • Present recommendations to senior management.

8. Business Performance Reviews

  • Prepare and manage monthly and quarterly Business Performance Review (BPR) presentations.
  • Consolidate performance metrics and strategic insights for leadership reporting.
  • Support regional and country-level management reviews.

9. Ad-Hoc Projects & Analysis

  • Execute special projects involving customer surveys, market assessments, and business analytics.
  • Provide analytical support for management initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Develop reports and recommendations to support business decisions.

10. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Branding

  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
  • Assist in product positioning, customer communication, and promotional planning.
  • Assist marketing content and branding materials aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate launch activities and monitor campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Business Planning, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, or Strategic Planning.
  • Experience in logistics, express, transportation, supply chain, or related industries is preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools, Data Warehouse (DWH), Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), SQL, and similar analytics platforms.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and transform them into actionable business insights.
