(HIL) markets and sells a wide range of products/services ranging from Information & Telecommunications Systems, Digital Solutions & Services, Infrastructure Systems, Industrial Systems like Water, Oil & Gas supply and management to Transportation and Urban Development Systems. Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the research activities of Hitachi Research Institute (HRI), which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The activities include, but not limited to, the followings:
Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry, and energy & environment in India as well as other regions globally.
Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and opportunity/threat for Hitachi through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and competitor benchmarking.
Work out the measures to capture opportunities and reduce threats
Supervise junior researcher in the team in India.
Required Qualification and Characteristics:
Master’s degree in economics/ commerce/ business from a reputed college or university.
7+ years of related work experience preferably with a market research/ consulting/ credit rating firm or strategy/ corporate office of multinational company.
Ability to handle research & consultancy assignments independently including writing research proposal, conducting research (secondary, primary), report writing, communication with Hitachi businesses.
Open to travel both domestic and foreign.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ability to use AI for research works.
Team management and good interpersonal skills for team building, stakeholder management.
