Job Description

[What the role is]

The purpose of the role is to support the Network Project Office (NPO) Division in grants administration and in ensuring the compliance in accordance with IMDA grant governance requirements.

[What you will be working on]

Administer grants or other assistance programs to support the industry in building up capabilities to detect and disable scams and online harm content.

This will include:

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, including telecom operators and internet service providers, to understand existing capabilities and the additional resources required build new capabilities against scams and online harm content
  • Support the formulation of proposals to secure funding for grants or other assistance programs
  • Review claims submitted and ensured that the claims are in line with the objectives and conditions of the grant or assistance programs
  • Support the budget and other finance-related matters of NPO

[What we are looking for]

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in grant management which includes policy and process review/implementation.
  • Background in funding schemes and funding policy development in a finance, and/or telco sector, will be a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly adaptable, able to learn and work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel -skills with task automation using macros and VBS would be advantageous.
