We are currently seeking motivated, enthusiastic and detail-oriented professionals to join our Assurance – Regulatory Reporting team in Athens, focusing on prudential supervision, regulatory reporting and banking regulatory transformation projects. As banks continue to respond to evolving supervisory requirements, including CRD VI / CRR III and stress testing, we are looking for people who want to contribute to high-impact engagements in a dynamic and highly regulated environment.

Our team supports banking clients across core regulatory reporting and prudential supervision areas, from CRD VI / CRR III implementation and FINREP/COREP preparation to automating Pilar III disclosures and supporting stress testing exercises. We combine technical regulatory knowledge, strong project management and practical implementation experience to help clients meet supervisory expectations and improve their reporting processes.

As an Assistant Manager / Manager in Regulatory Reporting, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical and leadership skills while contributing to complex banking engagements. Your role as an Assistant Manager / Manager in our Regulatory Reporting team will focus on participating in client engagements, providing support on Regulatory issues related to prudential supervision projects, with emphasis on CRD VI / CRR III prudential framework ,assisting banks throughout regulatory banking reporting phases such as FINREP, COREP, Pilar III disclosures and providing stress testing support to banking clients.

In this role, you will develop your leadership skills and your technical skills; you will build relationships and exercise your communication skills to positively influence your peers and other stakeholders. You will commit to the department’s goals; you will share knowledge and experience with others, and act as a strong brand ambassador, embracing our purpose and values to put these into practice in your professional life.

During your tenure as an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will demonstrate and develop the ability to:

  • Provide technical regulatory reporting advice and support to banking clients on prudential supervision projects, including CRD VI/ CRR III implementation and stress testing exercises.
  • Advise clients on implementing regulatory banking reporting requirements across the various reporting phases, including the automation of Pillar III disclosures.
  • Support banks in assessing regulatory impacts, enhancing reporting processes and aligning data, controls and methodologies with evolving supervisory expectations.
  • Carry out and support business development activities to create new opportunities.
  • Produce high-quality work products and collaborate with your colleagues to deliver a superior client expertise.
  • Cooperate with other Deloitte service lines on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Deliver key messages with clarity, confidence and poise to instill confidence in clients.
  • Develop people through effective delegation tasks and providing guidance.
  • Apply a global and diverse perspective to problem solving.

Specifically, candidates should possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience in an audit & consulting firm or in the regulatory reporting team of a financial institution;
  • University degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration and/or related subject;
  • Master’ degree from top-tier universities in Finance, Risk Management or related subjects will be considered an asset;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of prudential supervision, CRD VI / CRR III requirements, regulatory banking reporting frameworks and stress testing methodologies.
  • Commit to continuous learning and gaining exposure across multiple industries to broaden expertise.
  • Proficient user of MS Office;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on delivering high-quality work using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Military obligations fulfilled, where applicable.
