Our Assistant Manager of Logistics will play a key role in ensuring seamless transportation operations while leading a team dedicated to exceptional guest service. This position oversees our logistics staff, coordinates daily operations, and serves as a vital link between guests, employees, and external partners. Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of Transportation Service Representatives and Logistics staff and organize their daily operations.
• Coordinates all department-related guest service activities.
• Assists with personnel processing and reporting, including scheduling, reviewing, and advising seasonal staff.
• Acts as the departmental liaison for company affairs to external working partners and organizations.
• Provides job-specific and customer service training. Monitors employees’ work and customer service performance against defined goals and objectives throughout the season.

Requirements

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications. Prior experience in learning and successfully utilizing new software applications is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required.
• Current, valid driver's license, with three (3) years of clean driving record. Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
• Must meet Company's clean driver eligibility requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
