Job Title: Assistant Manager, Lending Contact Center – Fulltime - Chatsworth

What You Will Do:

  • The Assistant Manager, Lending Contact Center's primary purpose is to oversee the daily sales activities and service levels for the LCC Loan Officer team, ensuring all inquiries are promptly and professionally served. This individual is responsible for development, training, quality monitoring, regular department meetings, team building, and coaching.
  • In addition, this individual will be tasked with running the day-to-day operations of the Loan Contact Center, including ensuring monthly commissions are calculated and paid in a timely manner, review of escalations and ensuring a seamless loan experience from the application process to the loan funding or title perfection.
  • This individual will be responsible for promoting Credit Union products and services at various member touch points, including training new team members.
  • They will also play a key role in decision making, setting of goals to increase loan production, and maintaining high quality member satisfaction by providing exceptional service and actively monitoring department NPS levels.
  • The role will work in partnership with other functions such as Underwriting, Processing and DMV to meet corporate goals, ensure loan accuracy and execute the Credit Union's strategic plan.
Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
  • Knowledge of Loan Origination system (Lending 360) and Core System (Symitar).
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills including in-person, by phone, and email.
  • Excellent supervisory and training abilities. Strong people management skills including providing feedback, performance management, and development of direct reports.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills include the ability to research questions, analyze data, compile results, recommend solutions and effectively communicate information to a variety of levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to use a personal computer and related software applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow.
  • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first-level to middle managers.

Pay Grade Info

The base pay range for this position is: $32-$40/hour plus earned commission
