About the Role

Integrations & Development subject matter expert (SME) in supporting technical areas for SAP integrations and custom SAP applications. Key role for on-going daily support resolving production incidents, perform monitoring, troubleshooting, enhancements, and development services for AIA integrations and custom SAP applications.

Provide Level 2 support for service request, incidents & BAU changes requests - primarily focused in moderate to high complexity as per Complexity Matrix and Standard Operating Procedure defined for below areas.

Integration Support

  • Monitor integration flows (iFlows), message processing, APIs, and connectivity services.
  • Investigate and resolve integration failures involving SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
  • Support interface deployments, testing, and transport activities across landscapes.
  • Maintain integration documentation, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Work closely with SAP functional teams, middleware teams, and external vendors to resolve issues.

Custom Development (ABAP) Support

  • Support ABAP programming in various areas listed (not limited) as below:
    • Forms: SAPscript, Smartforms, PDF forms
    • Report: Query report, List reporting, ALV reporting,
    • Interface: Flat file (in txt/excel format), IDOC, ALE, BAPI, Data Medium Exchange Engine (DMEE)
    • Conversion: BDC, LSMW
    • Enhancement: user exits, BADI, Enhancement Implementation, Enhancement Spot, Business Transaction Events (BTE).
    • Others: Workflow, Screen painting, Dialog/DYNPRO programming
    • Any other new SAP technology hand over to BAU in the future.
  • Perform ABAP code review of ABAP colleagues (QA check) to ensure programs delivered adhere to AIA programming standards.

Perform BAU Activities – Incident and Service Request

  • Perform diagnosis / investigation / troubleshooting/ enquiries.
  • Perform configuration changes/ fixes or work closely with vendors where necessary to resolve incident.
  • Resolve and close ticket within Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ideal Turn Around Time (TAT)

Perform BAU Change Request

  • Develop & update Change Scope Analysis (CSA) and documentation (i.e. Functional Specification Documentation (FSD)).
  • Perform configuration / code changes & Unit Test (including coordination with 3rd party where necessary).
  • Prepare test scenarios & acceptance criteria.
  • Inform on readiness for Production deployment.
  • Prepare & submit Change Deployment Template.
  • Close ticket upon successful Production deployment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Information Technology/Systems, or Engineering or Business-related degree majoring in computing systems
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in SAP support field mainly SAP Integration Suite and ABAP custom development.
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • SAP Integration Suite: SOAP, REST APIs, OData services, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, XML, XSLT, JSON, API security and authentication mechanisms
    • SAP ABAP: ALV, BAPI, IDoc, ALE, Smartforms, SAPScripts, Adobe Form, BAdi, BTE, Enhancement Framework, ABAP Objects, Workflow
  • Experience with other SAP application/Module (PO/ FICO/ TRM/ ARIBA/ CONCUR) will be advantageous.
