Assistant Manager - Information Technology
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end IT operations across head office, project sites, and operational locations, ensuring high system availability and performance.
Oversee IT infrastructure including networks (LAN/Wi-Fi), hardware, software, cloud services, and communication systems.
Ensure effective end-user support and timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests across multiple locations.
Implement and enforce IT security controls, access management, and cybersecurity measures in line with Group IT standards and regulatory requirements, including PDPA.
Identify and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks; maintain risk registers and ensure proactive risk management.
Develop, maintain, and periodically test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
Coordinate IT projects, system implementations, upgrades, and integrations in collaboration with Group IT and external vendors.
Act as the primary IT focal point for the sector, liaising with Group IT, service providers, and technology partners.
Establish and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and user guidelines while promoting IT awareness and cybersecurity best practices.
Support IT requirements for new project mobilizations, demobilizations, and site operations, including site visits when required.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or end-user support, preferably within a multi-site or project-based environment.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, LAN/Wi-Fi).
Working knowledge of cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, access management, and data protection principles.
Experience in IT asset management, vendor coordination, and cloud-based services.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
