About the Function:

Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world. With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.

About the role:

Job Title: Assistant Manager– Import BII and BIO

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Postgraduate, preferably MBA in Supply Chain and Operations.

Certification in Customs, EXIM, Foreign Trade or Advanced Microsoft Excel.

> 5 Years in the consumer goods industry with a EXIM background.

Experience of Custom clearance and warehouse function for at least 2 years

Strategic Planning:

Experience in planning and prioritising BIO and Bulk Scotch import clearances based on shipment schedules, business requirements, warehouse capacity, manufacturing demand and regulatory timelines. The candidate should be able to anticipate operational risks, prepare contingency plans and support initiatives to reduce clearance lead time, detention, demurrage and overall logistics cost.

Analytical Skills

Strong ability to analyse shipment data, customs duty, clearance lead time, inventory ageing, detention, demurrage and service-provider performance. The candidate should be capable of identifying trends, root causes and compliance gaps, and converting the analysis into practical recommendations and corrective actions

Technology Proficiency

Hands-on experience with SAP, ICEGATE, FSSAI portals, import management systems and advanced Microsoft Excel. Proficiency in Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Power Query, dashboards and data analysis is essential. Knowledge of Excel Macros, VBA and digital workflow automation would be an added advantage.

Regulatory Compliance

Knowledge of relevant Import, Export, FSSAI and Excise laws, regulations, and industry standards governing Import and Export operations,
