Job Description

An established organization in the engineering and manufacturing sector is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager – Human Resources to lead and manage the organizations HR operations. The role requires an experienced HR professional who can independently oversee the full HR function, ensure compliance with labor regulations, and implement effective HR strategies to support business growth. This position will also involve supervising a Junior HR Executive and an Intern while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
• Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and HR best practices.
• Oversee the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance reviews, development, and offboarding.
• Provide strategic HR guidance to management to support organizational growth and workforce planning.
• Supervise and guide the Junior HR Executive and HR Intern in daily HR operations.
• Handle employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling overall HR functions.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices across the employee life cycle.
• Proven experience in strategic HR management.
• Sound knowledge of labor legislation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to independently manage the HR department with a small team.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Professional presence with a pleasant personality and strong relationship-building skills.
