Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Compensation and Benefits (C&B) supports the development and execution of compensation strategies and programmes that attract and retain talent. This role manages the end-to-end administration of compensation exercises, oversees benefits and insurance programmes, and ensure C&B policies remain competitive, compliant and cost effective.

Key responsibilities

Compensation administration

  • Review and enhance C&B policies, structures and processes, including cost benefit analysis, salary benchmarking and budget planning

  • Manage and administer compensation exercises, including salary review, performance bonus, annual wage supplement and variable payment schemes

  • Analyse compensation data to support decision making and maintain internal pay equity

Programme design and stakeholder collaboration

  • Design, develop and implement C&B programmes through effective collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Lead and participate in HR projects, driving process improvements and ensuring alignment with organisational and regulatory requirements

Policy and benefits management

  • Manage the review, update and communication of HR policies and employee handbooks

  • Lead company insurance renewals and benefits programme administration

  • Maintain standard operating procedures for C&B related processes

Others

  • Evaluate and manage external vendors, brokers and service providers, ensuring contractual obligations are met

  • Oversee medical, insurance and WICA claims

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all compensation and benefits matters

  • Support the broader HR function as required

Requirements

· Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits. Experience in the healthcare sector would be an advantage.

· Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

· Highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
