REQ10773 Assistant Manager, Global Marketing (Open)

The Assistant Manager, Global Marketing is responsible for the customer development and customer retention initiatives for the VIP Business out of different region. The Assistant Manager, Global Marketing will also be responsible for identification of new markets and growth opportunities. Reports to the Executive Director, Global Marketing / VP, Global Marketing and shares the responsibilities of promoting and representing the Melco Resorts & Entertainment properties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop new network of VIP market from different region and for Melco Resorts & Entertainment properties
  • Research, compare and propose new innovative marketing ideas in line with the Management’s Global Marketing strategies to encourage business growth
  • Carry out constant market research and competitors’ marketing efforts for the different regions’ market and report the information by submitting weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist to monitor the financial performance of the VIP market against established targets on a weekly basis.
  • Solicit customer feedback on matters including product, pricing, service, programs, promotions and offers, and integrating this information into future initiatives.
  • Serves as a primary customer contact point for the VIP Business of different region
  • Perform marketing trips (average 5 days) to the responsible region to develop and maintain good rapport with VIP customers as when required
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of products, offers, events, promotions and general information relating to all areas of Melco Resorts & Entertainment properties.
  • To ensure VIP customer programmes are established in an efficient manner and supervise settlement of accounts.
  • Ensure flexibility is maintained to allow for customer development of other regions if and when required.
  • To comply with all relevant laws, rules, regulations and departmental, Melco Resorts & Entertainment Policies & Procedures.

Ensure all customers enjoy a positive experience in a welcoming and entertaining environment through providing an exceptional level of customer understanding and service which meets their expectations and engenders brand loyalty.

  • Measurement of customer satisfaction index.
  • On-going contribution to customer profiles.
  • Communicate information regarding quality new customers to relevant Marketing Office.
  • Strong product knowledge.

Marketing

Utilise every customer contact as an opportunity to market Melco, gain feedback on events and initiatives, and identify possible competitive threats.

  • Ensure delivery of excellent and exceptional customer service in accordance with the service standards of Melco.
  • Provide drive for return visitation of VIP customers based on customers’ experience.

Compliance

Ensure that Melco meets its regulatory obligations through demonstrating personal awareness of all relevant legislation and managing employee compliance with all Melco Resorts & Entertainment policies and procedures.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and understand the implications of breaches of confidence.
  • Competency testing on an annual basis.

Financial Objective

Perform all aspects of the role and always mindful of the impact, actions or decisions that may have on the financial profitability of Melco.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and marketing experience and possess good business acumen.
  • Experience in Resorts Marketing will be a strong advantage.
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Display a high level of integrity and commitment to customer service.
  • Works well as an individual and equally effective when working in a team.
  • Prepared to adopt and implement new approaches and practices to meet changing circumstances.

Education

  • Strong written and verbal English skills are an advantage.
