Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business users, KPI owners, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, data requirements, and system enhancement requests.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical/development teams throughout project implementation.
• Facilitate requirement discussions, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives

Database & SQL Management

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, views, and database objects to support reporting and business operations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation from multiple source systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and availability across MIS platforms.
• Monitor database performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for data-related issues

System Development & Enhancement

• Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of KPI tracking systems, reporting platforms, and MIS applications.
• Coordinate system enhancement activities with users, vendors, and technology teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, business rules, and data mapping.
• Participate in project implementation, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
• Ensure system solutions meet business requirements and operational standards

Reporting & Data Analytics

• Design, develop, and automate management reports, dashboards, and performance tracking solutions.
• Analyse business performance data and provide insights to support management decision-making.
• Develop reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of KPI and management reports.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requests from management and business stakeholders

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
• Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and controls for all MIS and reporting processes.
• Support internal and external audit requirements relating to reporting systems and data management.

Required Skills;

• Strong SQL programming and database management skills (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL or equivalent).
• Experience in database design, data modelling, ETL processes, and data validation.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in system implementation, testing, and UAT coordination.
• Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Programming knowledge in PHP, Java, Python, or other development languages is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Banking and financial services experience preferred.
• Exposure to Agile, SDLC, or project management methodologies is an added advantage.
