Assistant Manager (Full-Time)

SPAR Kinsale (Pearse St) require a Full-Time Assistant Manager to join their fantastic team.

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints
• Supervise, train, and support team members to achieve high performance standards
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and attractively presented
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and minimize waste and stock loss
• Manage cash handling, tills, and end-of-day reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store targets

Requirements

• Previous retail supervisory or management experience is required
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good numerical and organisational skills
• Experience with stock control, merchandising, and cash management
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Knowledge of food safety, health and safety, and retail compliance standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
