JOB PURPOSE

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accounting & maintenance of books of accounts
Ensuring timely and accurate accounting of bills i.e mainly material suppliers after thorough verification of documents and genuineness of transaction. Monitor and ensure that correct GST credit is posted, reverse charge liability posted in line with GST law requirement.
Posting employee reimbursement documents and vouchers.
Interacting with the internal customer for sharing information on revenue expenses.
Ensuring proper maintenance of accounts and documentation of the same in line with various tax law requirements.
Ensuring regular scrutiny of the assigned GL accounts so that there are no unexplained balances.
Ensuring proper period end accounting.
Direct tax compliance
Support Income Tax (CIT) and Transfer Pricing (TP) compliance and assessments.
Preparation of provision for tax and related workings, including Advance Tax
Various related compliance to income tax and Transfer pricing, compilation of data and support work related to ongoing assessment and inspections.
Statutory compliance
Ensuring statutory compliance of direct / indirect taxes and ensuring timely remittances of the same. Support for preparation for financial statement of the company as per the companies act as well as companies act.
Audits
Participating with/ attending to statutory and internal audit
Assets Management:
Asset creation, deletion, co-ordination for assets verification activities as per the companies act and as per the Income tax act
Review of asset balances and depreciation keys
Ensure the implementation of recommendation provided various auditors (internal & External) and monitor consistency.
Others
Handling direct taxation, Capex accounting & accounting of bills for non-material vendors in the absence of the concerned executive.
Carrying out any other assignments or projects as per the instruction of the Dept. Head to meet with the organizational objectives and priorities.
Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors and promptly reporting other potentially hazardous situations.
