About the role:
The incumbent will ensure financial compliance, due diligence, and effective financial management for donor-funded projects and implementation partners. This role requires high-level coordination with internal teams, donors, and external partners to ensure transparent fund utilization and adherence to statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including FCRA, Income Tax, CSR, and GST for non-profit entities.
Due Diligence: Lead financial assessments for new and existing partners to evaluate financial health, governance, and compliance capabilities.
Donor Financial Management: Manage the full grant lifecycle, including budgeting, variance analysis, and the timely submission of financial reports to donors.
Partner Oversight: Monitor fund flow and financial performance of implementation partners through periodic reviews and field visits.
Audit Support: Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audit processes.
Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial summaries and dashboards for senior management and donors.
Qualification & Skills:
Education: Inter CA, MBA (Finance), ICWA, or an equivalent degree in Finance.
Experience: At least 6 years of experience in finance and accounts functions; experience in the non-profit sector or consulting is an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of FCRA, GST, and CSR compliance frameworks.
Tools: Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
Competencies: Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skill.
